Friendships. How do they start? We either get introduced to someone, or we see them often enough that a friendship just develops.
And when friendships end, it’s one of two ways. Either you slowly lose touch, or a conflict happens and that’s the end.
A famous quote is that “you don’t know what you have till it’s gone”, but what if we visit this and change it around a bit. It’s not necessarily that what hurts is not that we lost them and now we realize their true value, but what hurts is that you never thought you would lose them in the first place.
