Regret is a strong word and “no regrets” seems to be a popular phrase.  If it’s so popular then why do people tend to wish “things were different”.  I like to think that I will not regret most decisions I’ve made when the fact of the matter is that we just learn to live with them.

When you really look at what regret means it is really a feeling of sadness or disappointment over something that has happened or been done. I’m sure most everyone has felt this way at one point of their life.

This week, we tackle that topic.  More importantly we tackle 3 decisions that you will regret forever.  These may seem to be common sense although there are so many of us that fall into the idea that “there will always be more time”.  The first decision you will regret forever is “making decisions based on what other people thought”.  If you spend your entire life making decisions solely on what others think then who are you really living for?  Of course, it’s good to take others thoughts and feelings into consideration when they are involved but ultimately this is a decision for you.  #2.  Wishing that you would have expressed your feelings.  How many times have you been in a situation where you suppressed your true feelings?  Maybe it was because if the #1 reason above or maybe something else entirely.  I guess if you don’t express your feelings then you’ll never know, will you?  And, finally the number 3 decision that you will regret forever.   Wishing that you would have shown more love.  To friends, to family, to distant relatives or even strangers.  Whenever you have an opportunity to show love do it.

We’re all in this together.
